Having grown up on a farm with all kinds of livestock, horses, dogs, cats, chickens and anything else that ended up on our farm, I can say I am quite used to anything thrown my way.

I was a 4-H member as a child and a 4-H leader as an adult. I competed in many horse shows and trail riding and I have assisted in fundraising and animal rescue.

I am a former Animal Control Officer, managed a full time animal rescue, established and maintained a large adoption network in order to be a successful no-kill shelter.

I also had various positions as a Veterinarian Technician on and off over the years.


Some other former careers include:

Emergency Medical Technician.

Held the position of Assistant Clerk of Courts and Domestic Violence Specialist for the judicial branch for the State Of Maine.

Managed large and small equine facilities.

Owned and Operated Black Horse Farm which was a lesson, boarding and training facility.

I am a Certified Riding Instructor through the National Certified Horseman's Association and EAGALA, Equine Assisted Growth and Learning to name a few.
   

I love all animals and have gained a lifetime of knowledge.

I have worked with problem animals as well as blind and deaf animals. I am well versed in animal behavior and I am sensitive to how they think and feel.

I am qualified to care for your pets.
